Leisure 17 sailing yacht boat & trailer

Here we have my Leisure 17, 90% refurbished. She is currently afloat in Portsmouth harbour and should be ashore on Friday 6th Nov.Imminent house move forces sale.

Comes with a good condition 4hp long shaft Mercury which is about 12years old but is very reliable,also a good condition purpose built trailer with new 14" tyres,new bearings were fitted 3 years ago and it has been immersed twice since then. Should be capable of a decent distance but I can give no roadworthy guarantees.

She was antifouled (international optima) prior to going afloat in June so should be OK for next year.Rudder is good.Majority of deck fittings removed and resealed, 2 new Lewmar number 6 winches fitted.Topsides are painted with Leighs marine paints with antislip patches.All external woodwork replaced in mahogany, washboards replaced. She has 6 or 7 sails ranging from good to poor, standard main and jib are good.Safety rail allround. All bits and bobs ie anchor warps etc included.Totally watertight boat.

She has the benefit of 3 mast stowage points as LOA design.

Interior bunks reupholstered this year, cockpit cushions,windows replaced,two burner cooker and gas bottle in rear locker, place for porta potti, depth sounder but not wired.

She is ready to go a complete boat.WHEN ASHORE I WILL POST MORE PHOTOS OF THE INTERIOR NEXT DAY OR TWO HOPEFULLY

Downside:Cabin interior needs a clean/paint, wiring if required needs to be done.

Just thought I'd remind everybody that the above pictures were taken just prior to when the boat was launched in June this year, so there are now signs of 5 months teathering to a mooring (no major differances). I strongly advise a viewing at  PO16 8TS.

I'VE TAKEN A SHOT OF THE BOATS EXTERNAL PRESENT CONDITION AND ONE OF THE INTERIOR BUT I'M ONLY ALLOWED 4 PICS.THATS THE MOTOR THAT GOES WITH THE BOAT.

THE BUNK CUSHIONS (5 IN NO) ARE DONE IN PIPED LEATHERETTE ON TOP AND FABRIC UNDERNEATH AND LOOK REALLY SMART.

THERE IS ALSO A FIXED CONTEST COMPASS IN THE COCKPIT. IF I CAN FIND A WAY OF PUBLISHING THE INTERNAL PIC I WILL PUT IT ON EBAY.
