The box has been carefully opened and is in a good complete condition with only minor creasing on the top at the back.

The instructions are as new and 99% crease free (just two bottom corners of the outside cover are turned up).

The set has been assembled only a few times then put into storage so the bricks are all as new.

This is a really huge and highly detailed set with lots of gadgets, hiding places and secret compartments. It comprises the A gate house, and two wings of Hogwarts Castle. One wing holds the Great Hall with swing out fireplace hiding Peeves the poltergeist. The second wing is four storeys high with Dumbledore’s office, the entrance to the Gryffindor Common room a treasure room and an observatory. Pull the lever on the ground floor and the hiding place opens on the floor above. Turn the knight and discover the hidden jewel. The set comes complete with a boat, four owls, four books, two rats, four keys, four jewels, two scary bats, three printed platelets and loads of flame lamps. The minifigs are Harry (with wand), Ron (with wand), Hermionie (with wand)Draco Malfoy (with wand), Dumbledore, Hagrid, Peeves, Professor Snape, and the Gryffindor Knight.

This set is the key to building a super set. It fits above the Chamber of Secrets to complete a huge castle.
