This print was taken from a disbound edition of John Nichols 'The Works of William Hogarth, from the original plates restored by James Heath.' These are the last prints to be taken from William Hogarth's original plates. The plates were brought by 'Baldwin, Cradock & Joy' circa 1818, and were then restored by Heath.

Titles (top to bottom): "The Lecture" and "The Company of Undertakers"

This was published in London by 'Baldwin and Cradock' and are undated, however we believe that these were published circa 1820.

The overall size is approx, 475 x 630 mm.

The edges and corners are a little browned and creased with age. These slight imperfections only affect the blank margins, so will not be visible once the print is framed.

Overall the image is crisp, clean and in good condition. This will look very good when mounted and framed.

This will be sent rolled, in a rigid tube.
