Leather Hide Colour for upholstery chair suite paint

This is a 250ml bottle of leather colour for the repair of hide on three-piece-suites.   Over time, suites suffer grazing and scuffing that can be repaired using a professional product such as this.  

It works like this:  You pay us and then find a sample of the hide, as large as possible (probably from inside the suite from the underside, if there's no hide sample attached to the suite) and send it to us, we then get a technician to colour-match it and send you a 250ml bottle of flexible hide colour.

Hide colour is waterbased and is applied to the affected area after extensive cleaning/degreasing.   The product is dried using a hair dryer and recoated at 2 minute intervals (when touch dry) - to build up a new surface onto the damaged area.   It really is a case of 'less is more' and as such the area of application should be kept to a minimum.   We recommend that you practice on the bottom edge by turning the suite over. Don't forget the dust sheet on the floor - The product may not be quite dry when you roll the furniture onto its feet again!   It's normally easiest to apply the product to the actual damage using a small brush and if it would benefit from blending with the surrounding area, then stipple the surrounding area with the product on a soft cloth (It's possible to use an airbrush, if required).   It's better to achieve more thin coats than one thick one.   Life of the product depends on how well the leather was prepared in the first place, and how stable the old leather is.   Please bear in mind that the colour match is to the sample which may not ever have seen the light of day, whereas your suite may have faded.   Tools can be cleaned in water.   The item is put into production when the sample is received so delivery can be 3-4 weeks.   This item is colour-matched as closely as possible to your original furniture.   It's my opinion that the average customer does not have the experience to mix their own, as is required with some other products.   This product should achieve a better colour match overall.
