Description:

This book was originally produced by the US War Department to assist soldiers in Bulgaria but its straightforward method of presenting useful phrases phonetically means that it is ideal for the student of the Bulgarian language or as a good grounding for anyone visiting this beautiful country.

The book is broken down into topics such as money, time, directions and greetings, and each phrase is presented in English with the Bulgarian translation as it would be spoken. The book explains pronunciation and the use of phrases and has many amusing black and white illustrations throughout. It also contains two pages of useful signs in Bulgarian with the English translations.

This pocket sized book has 83 pages of useful phrases and is in black and white.  This is an updated reprint of the original edition.
