Our professionally refurbished ex-Corporate Laptops is our “signature item” with each unit having gone through a thorough test and data wipe of the original software. All units are then cleaned, sealed in protective bags and repackaged in new boxes, irrespective of the processor speed, to arrive with you in the exact condition described in the auction. Please take a look at our “3D tour” which will run an animation showing exactly how your Laptop will arrive. Many of these units come with the remainder of the manufacturers’ warranty, but in any event are covered by Tier 1’s own 30 day warranty which can be extended to 12 months during checkout.
Our philosophy is to offer our customers a broad range of products through traditional fixed prices which can be viewed and purchased by visiting either our eBay store or tier1online.com. We also start many of our auctions at £1 with no reserve and let you decide how much you want to pay for that item. In this way you get the best of both worlds and get a great deal in the process.
We also offer full outsourcing solutions for companies wanting to sell their products and services via the internet, including Bay, but who do not have the necessary resource or expertise available. Payment
We accept Visa/Delta/Electron, MasterCard and Switch/Solo, PayPal and cheque.
If you pay using credit card or paypal we will ONLY ship to the registered address of the cardholder/Paypal account holder, with NO EXCEPTIONS.
We also accept payment by Cheque. Please note that cheques can take up to 10 working days to clear.
We can only accept payments through our automated Channeladvisor checkout link or the link from the e-mail we will send you as a winning bidder. This is for all payment methods including cheques. Details of who to make cheques payable to, final payment amounts and the address to send payment are explained in detail during our simple checkout process.
Please do not bid if you are not prepared to checkout using this method as we can offer you no alternative.
Shipping
Shipping cost & method are stated in the postage information below. This price is inclusive of VAT
For customers paying by credit card, we will only deliver to the cardholders registered address. If you want delivery to a different address then we suggest you pay by Paypal or cheque
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 5 working days of receiving your cleared funds, but during busy times this may be extended. In practice 80% of all orders are dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your cleared funds. Please also be aware that it will take 10 days for a cheque to clear.
We only deliver to addresses with a UK Postcode so please DO NOT bid if you do not have a UK Postcode as your order will be immediately cancelled.
In order to maintain Quality Control and timely dispatch of orders, we do not allow customer collections.
We want you to be informed of how we will deal with your order in advance, so if any of the above conditions do not suit your requirements then please do not bid.

By bidding or purchasing any of our products, you are entering into a legally binding contract, and are agreeing to the following terms:
Delivery
1. Once your order has been despatched you will receive an e-mail from us with confirmation together with a tracking number. If you do not receive this e-mail within 5 working days of us receiving your cleared funds, please send an e-mail to sales@tier1online.co.uk
2. We will only deliver to addresses with a UK Postcode. Under no circumstances will we deliver outside of the UK.
3. Your order will normally be despatched within 5 working days (Monday to Friday) of receipt of cleared funds. Please allow up to 10 days for a cheque to clear
4. Where payment is by credit card we will only deliver to the registered cardholders address
5. Delivery costs are additional (unless specified as “included” in the product description) and the amount you will pay is itemised in the product description
6. We do not allow you to collect your order for reasons of security and efficiency, no matter how local you are to us

7. Upon conclusion of the auction or Buy It Now process you will be sent an e-mail with our Checkout instructions.

Non Paying Bidders (eBay only)
10. All auctions and Buy It Now purchases must complete the checkout process within 7 days to:

General
11. You are wholly responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered and by placing your order and/or bid you are acknowledging the goods as being suitable.
12. Many of the photographs used are library images and we are therefore not responsible for any colour variances or style updates. We guarantee to send you the specification as advertised in the product description.
13. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery.
14. Goods purchased for personal use; You have the right to change your mind within 8 calendar days of receipt of your order as per the Distance Selling Act 2000 providing you notify us in writing. If you wish to change your mind under the Distance Selling Act 2000 then you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
15. Claims of damage to goods must be noted at the time of the delivery to the delivery person, and notified to Tier 1 Asset Management Ltd within 24 hours of delivery by sending an e-mail to sales@tier1online.co.uk. Failure to do so may render any claim invalid
Warranty, Returns & Technical Support
16. If upon receipt of your item(s) you believe there is a fault, in the first instance please refer to your confirmation of despatch e-mail which indicates what you should do for each of the manufacturers products we supply.
17. For Technical Support issues please also follow instructions as above
18. Where goods supplied are still under manufacturer’s warranty, then the buyer must exercise the warranty directly with the manufacturer/agent and not Tier 1 Asset Management Ltd
19. Where goods under warranty cannot be repaired they will be replaced by the manufacturer/agent and not Tier 1 Asset Management Ltd
20. If you have an item covered by a Tier 1 warranty then we are unable to accept the return of goods without prior authorisation. Upon authorisation, we will e-mail you with instructions for the return of goods.
21. Item(s) returned without prior authorisation may be refused upon delivery.
22. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure any item(s) authorised for return are sufficiently packaged. Where delivery back to Tier 1 is the responsibility of the buyer, we strongly recommend adequate insurance is in place.
23. If an item(s) is deemed faulty within 7 days of receipt, Tier 1 will collect. After 7 days responsibility of return passes to the buyer.
