BRAND NEW - BOXED - UK OLD STOCK FIND

One of the very best quality digital cameras Olympus has ever made. Was never a cheap and cheerful camera - this was aimed at the serious amateur / pro photographer in mind.

Seriously good 28-105mm optical zoom (35mm equivalent), solid metal body, optical style TTL viewfinder and flip lcd screen.

Powererd by the large BLM-1 Lithium-Ion battery and supplied with InfraRed Remote control.

This is a warehouse find (old - but so good!). Only the one I'm afraid... Contents checked - all present and correct. Very slight damage to outer packing box, contents all perfect, CD still sealed sealed etc.. We have charged the battery and powered her up just to check all the basic features ( simply because it has rested in its box for a few years - but (as we expected) everything was just fine.

It's cameras like this that prove that quality doesn't come from a tiny box with a silly number of megapixels. It comes from good CCD, camera and Lens. sure it's not a pocket camera - but it sure is a great quality image maker and explains why this camera was regarded as great value for money dispite it being nearly £500!

Every feature oozes great design and quality. Take the LCD for example:

The lcd monitor swivels to face the subject, which is useful for self-portraits. Depending on the position, the displayed image flips itself, automatically, to provide the right orientation for viewing. It also reverses, flush with the camera's back, protecting it from scratches.
