This is a large vintage silverplate basket in fine condition with lots of interesting detail. This basket could be used for many things like holding and displaying fruit, biscuits, cakes, sweets or potpourri etc. The silverplate is in perfect condition on the outside and in the bowl there is minimal ware, but you would expect that from an item of this age, but overall it is in great order.

The pierced work on the four corners and on the handle is one of the many things that make this item stand out from the rest...It is 9'' in diameter and 8'' tall including the handle.
