Large Terra Cotta jug in the form of a soldier.
Looks continental - he has the same look as the German wooden nutcrackers.
Nearly 11 inches high x 5.5 inches at widest point.
Top opening about 5" diameter.
Base marked with "T" and a dot.

Glazed with a cream and black base decorated with flowers, snakes and decorative motifs.  Some of these are raised, some flat.
Some bits of glaze have chipped off and it has been broken and stuck together, not very expertly.
No idea how old this is but looks as if it has some age.

Strange one this.  My partner says "Why would anyone buy a damaged pot?' to which the only answer is "I did."
It is somehow compelling and I really like it but I must make some room!
