A large framed reproduction from a hand engraved original measures 13 and three quaters by 17 and three quaters in great condition. This is very unusual the glass is coloured black with gold borders and has a cut out effect with the picture underneath it looks hand painted or engraved in metalic shades of silver/gold and greens. You can see all the detailling of the feathers and there is an ivy trailing around the tree stump on which the owl is sitting. It is professionally mounted in the frame with a ring for hanging.
