Striking large reverse carved yellow rose brooch dating, I believe, to the 1940s. The brooch is a diamond shape, with a pretty deep yellow rose in the centre surrounded by its leaves. Great vibrant colour and pretty design.  It is in good condition with a few feint scratches from wear which can only be seen through a glass and are mentioned for accuracy only. The brooch fastens with a vintage roll over clasp and measures approximately 4.25cms square.
