 Over Twelve Inches Wide

A large mahogany box with wide tunbridge bands . It measures 12.5"x 8"x 5.5" approx. [31cm x 20cm x 14cm approx] . It has its original working lock and later key with a mother of pearl escutcheon and centre piece . The front and lid have wide self coloured tunbridge bands in good condition . Thought to be made in the Victorian period about 1870 and the inside has been relined.
