This beautiful piece would be a welcome addition to any home. It is hand-crafted in India from solid Mango Fruitwood and finished with a rich honey glaze to enhance the stunning natural colour and grain of the wood.

Please see the Dakota/Michigan range as sold in Next for very similar items. We do not use veneer or plywood on any of our mango furniture - only solid hardwood.

Our mango furniture is imported directly from manufacturers in India and is hand-crafted from locally sourced timber by skilled craftsmen.

Mango wood is harvested from the same trees that host the popular tropical fruit. It is native to eastern India as well as a large part of Southern Asia, Burma, and the Andaman Islands.

When mango trees reach around 30 years of age the fruits are no longer sustainable for commercial use. It is at this time that the older trees are harvested and replaced with young trees in a process which sustains the mango forests to ensure an indefinite supply of fruit and wood for producing mango wood products.

Although not considered 'rustic', hand-made indian furniture pieces are more so than machine manufactured generic hardwood items. Slight imperfections are to be expected - they add to the charm of each piece and are not considered faults. Many items are purposely distressed and are designed to have a 'lived in' look so knots, slight marks and sometimes very small chips are perfectly normal.

Please look elsewhere if these kind of imperfections found on hand-made pieces are not acceptable to you.

Return policy

We accept returns of items reported to us within 14 days of receipt. All items to be returned must be collected by our own drivers unless the buyer is specifically instructed otherwise.

In the unlikely event of a problem, please contact us as soon as possible. We are here to help and will always endeavour to resolve any issues as quickly and amicably as possible. We will arrange the collection of any items to be returned.

If your item has a fault, please contact us by e-mail or post with details of the problem and include a photograph illustrating the fault. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced at no cost to the buyer as quickly as possible (although please allow up to 4 weeks). If a replacement is unavailable, the buyer will be refunded in full including the original delivery cost paid.

If the buyer opts to return the goods when a replacement has been offered, a full refund will be issued minus the original delivery cost or £40 (whichever is greater).

Unwanted items without faults may also be returned and no reason must be given. The buyer will be refunded in full minus the total delivery and return costs incurred by Casa Bella Imports. The delivery costs (each way) are calculated as being equal to the original delivery cost paid or £40 (whichever is greater). The total carriage costs incurred are therefore determined to be a minimum of £80, and this is the minimum sum that will be retained by Casa Bella Imports when the refund is paid.

All items must be returned in their original, resalable condition.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept items, or to charge for re-delivery or collection and/or a re-stocking fee, if items to be replaced or returned are not reported to us within the 14 day period stipulated. We also reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee for unwanted items which are returned and declared as being in their original condition and are subsequently found not to be upon receipt by Casa Bella Imports.
