Land Slide

       Here you can obtain one of my latest sets of tyre beads. This set were made using a mixture of Effetre and Vetrofond glass. I love to use silver in my work and here I have used it in addition to this stunning new transparent blue glass along with some iris colour, the end results can be really stunning, making them perfect for any jewellery which has silver findings.

    There are 8 beads in this set and they were made on 1.6 mm size mandrels giving a hole size of around 2mm, this size hole is preferred by a lot of jewellery makers. The beads are all be around 9mm by 12mm in size, making them ideal for most types of bead jewellery. All beads will be sent to you strung on 1mm round leather cord. Due to the nature of hand crafted beads you will understand the sizes will always vary a little, but I will always try to give a truthful measurement in my descriptions.

   Like all the beads I make here in my Fenland barn studio, these beads are all fully kiln annealed in a digital controlled paragon kiln, all my beads are placed into the kiln straight from the flame. After taking my beads from the kiln they are then machine cleaned and washed, giving the buyer the option of using them in their jewellery on arrival.
