An easy way to remove the EGR valve and blank it off with this heavy duty, 5mm stainless steel plate and gasket kit with 2 new stainless steel bolts and a replacement intercooler top hose.

This is a heavy duty kit consisting of 5mm stainless steel blanking plate, new gasket and 2 new stainless steel bolts, don't confuse this with the cheaper mild steel thin blanking plate items, this is a heavy duty kit made from 5mm stainless steel and will not warp with the heat from the exhaust manifold.  This kit also includes a replacement top intercooler hose.

Once you have removed the EGR valve and blanked off the mounting on the manifold you will be wondering how to bung the hole left in your intercooler top hose. This complete kit comes with a replacement, rubber top intercooler hose to replace the existing pipe where the EGR used to connect to.

This kit is suitable for ALL 300TDi engines fitted to models of the Defender, Discovery and Range Rover. The EGR blanking kit is also available on it's own from my ebay shop.

Removing the EGR valve helps to prevent the inlet manifold from getting 'gunked' up with carbon and oil. Removing the EGR valve may also increase performance and improve low speed torque and power.

Comes complete with step by step, colour photo fitting instructions.

The last photo shows the original EGR valve and top intercooler pipe that this kit replaces.
