Land Rover 200TDi Crankshaft Vibration Damper

A new, quality replacement bottom crankshaft vibration damper or torsional vibration damper as is the correct term. This attaches to the front crankshaft and the drive belt pulley (not included) bolts to this. The torsional damper is constructed from metal and rubber and acts as a shock absorber to prevent noise and vibration. The pulley has to be removed when replacing the timing belt and they are often very difficult to remove and are prone to getting damaged. It is good practice to change the crankshaft pulley if there is any sign of wear.

The lower belt pulley is not included, there are 2 types of pulley, different if the vehicle has A/C or not.

Suitable as a replacement for all 200TDi engines as fitted to Land Rover Defender, Discovery and Range Rover Classic models.

A quality, replacement part equivalent to Land Rover part number: ERR751
