Brand New Rover V8 Heavy Duty Replacement Alternator

What is this Listing for?
1 Brand New Rover V8 12Volt 70 Amp/hour replacement Alternator. Without need for exchange, or  indeed costly exchange surcharge, thus no returns postage issues or costs whatsoever.

Will this fit my car?
It will fit allmost all Rover V8 engine (3.5, 3.9, 4.2, 4.0, 4.6 or any other variant),  suitable for the Range Rover Classics, Land Rover Discoveries Series I, Land Rover 90's, 110's and 130's. Also Morgan, Marcos TVR MG RV8 Etc Etc.

The alternator can fit all V8's but there are sometimes wiring/plug type changes that are easily overcome and it is also in some cases necessary to rotate the front bracket to acheive the correct bracket allignment. However this alternator will not fit the later serpentine style engine produced from 1993 onwards.

It should be suitable for V8 powered Kit cars or specials too!!
Please be aware though that your engine moves when you rev it, so you must have clearance around the Alternator.

All alternators come complete from the  manafacturer with computer output check sheet and the following is the information of the test.

A small wiring modification may be needed.
With so many years and varaints of Rover V8 applications, in some instances your electrical terminals that connect to the alternator may be slightly different, don't panic though, it is incredibly easy to connect the wires to it and we are on hand to help if need be.

Wiring connections.
Don't worry though as we have listed below the connections to make this easy for you.

• Connection B+ & two large spade terminals > These are the main connects to the positive battery terminal.
  
• Connection W > This is the rev counter pick up if your rev counter is triggered from the alternator.
• Small spade terminal next to two large terminals > This is the connect to the charge light on your dash board.
• Small spade terminal next to the B+ post > This is the connection for the suppressor if one is fitted.
