Lambretta Li 150 - series 3 FOR SALE!
(1963 model / chrome ring headset)
Unfinished project which was started last year. Scooter was purchased and brought over from italy at the start of 2007.
Scooter has obviously been painted to a high standard many years ago (see pics) as i believe the original 150s had 2 tone paint schemes. Two single seats (rear seat is the orginal innocenti seat that came with scooter) Since then i'v had the scooter taken to bits and any worn parts replaced. I had the option to either repair the original engine that came with the scooter or to fit new parts. I opted to replace the parts which included 200cc SIL engine, carb, exhaust, rear hub, 12v electrics, rear shock and hub. Cables and an original innocenti speedo has been fitted. Still have the original engine for serial numbers etc. Serial on frame can be easily read. Side panels would ideally need replacing (one handle is seized) but have been told they could be fixed. Although engine parts have been replaced i wanted to keep everything as close to original as i could.
Scooter has then since been started a few times and taken around a car park (not even covered 1 mile) but has spent the last year in the garage. This scooter will need to be ridden in as it's a new engine.
The last few bits that need to be done to the scooter are: replace fuel tank (has small pinhole - new kit will cost £25) , cables need adjusting (5 min job) , handle on side panel seized (would make sense to buy 2 new side panels) Light switch (works intermittently) - Any lambretta enthusiast knows these are very small jobs.
Scooter is yet un-registered to the UK but this can be easily done http://www.lcgb.co.uk/workshop/register.html
Scooter is listed elsewhere and can be removed at any time. Feel free to email any questions
Cash on collection and must be collected within 3 days of the auction ending
