Lambretta LI Special - 1966
This is a chance to own a very special scooter. I have had this for less than a year, this is the first time it has been advertised anywhere. It has done around twenty odd miles by myself since restoration
The quality of the restoration cannot be challenged. Everyone who has seen the bike has agreed that it is right up there with the best. The restoration is a 100% nut and bolt. It's been converted to 12v, and has had a 200cc head, piston fitted in the restoration.
It comes with MOT, a letter of authentication / dating certificate. No tax of course as it is a historic vehicle. Hopefully the pictures give an indication of the quality.
You should buy this now before prices start to go upwards for the summer. Right at the start of season - six months scootering. Save yourself the time and money of spending weekend after weekend looking for something you hope and think will be a better deal, wasting scootering time, and watching the prices rise. With this one the money has all been spent.
We are in Newport, South Wales, two hours or so from London, 90 minutes from Birmingham and three and a quarter hours from Manchester and Leeds.
Viewing is more than welcome as it will mean that you will be sure to want it then. The bike will be available to be viewed on the weekend of the 25th and 26th May
Please don't ask me what the reserve is.
If you bid remember that you are bidding to win not as an opening for negotiations. If you have a negative feedback balance (i.e. more bad feedback than good) you must not bid. If you have feedback of 0 or a new to ebay you will need to contact me beforehand. I'm not saying that you won't be able to bid, but I will want to speak to you to check that you know what you are getting into.
If you win this scooter you will be required to pay for it immediatly, or pay a deposit of £500 cash or Paypal, with the balance by cash one week later. You can provide a cheque for the balance, but the bike will not released until the cheque is fully cleared.
Contact me if you have questions - all the best - bid to win.
