This is a genuine Italian innocenti lambretta and getting harder and harder to find, (not an Indian import as so many are being listed, no offence intended). The bike is registered as 150 but has a 175cc conversion. I bought this bike not too long ago from a mate and have had the following work carried out: new speedo and cables,12v halogen light, 12v electronic conversion including a new loom and ignition coil, new engine seals, rear hub bearing and a seal, new seat frame, cover and latch, brake switch, new inner and rear brake cales, inner and out gear cables, inner and out clutch cables, new clutch plates, new horn, new grips. All electrical connectors in headlight have been soldered for extra reliability.
Originally the bike was a throw back from the 80's and has all the usual scooter boy mods, of which was a race seat and rear brake pedal conversion of which is available with the bike if you want to re-80's it! It also has a 40 mm Delorto carb and J and L expansion exhaust and I beleive a heavy duty clutch. The two rear panels have been cut to allow for brake pedal and carb. I wanted to change carb and exhaust back to standard (no-offense 80 boys). The bike was bought for the current market price and I have spent a great deal making it useable. it should pass the MOT with hardly any work as the bike always starts and runs lovely and gears change nice. Obviously this scoot is well over thirty years old and needs the usual enthusiast tinkering from time to time. the side panel needs to be taken off to apply the choke.
I have also got most of the air filter bits to convert back (as i do like things standard).
Please note!!! It has i beleive an Indian stand, which is no big deal to slightly modify as they seem larger than the Italian ones and take a bit more effort to push off. ALSO!!! when last road tested it, I went up to around 50mph and she partially seized. I beleive this could be the carb taking in too much air. It did restart immediately, but should need attention. The body work looks ok with little rust and has a few silly screws missing
I am not sure of the original mileage as the speedo was missing. The scoot is an old G reg with a nice number on a black and silver plate and road tax should be exempt.
I am selling the scooter due the those wonderful people called THE CSA and due to lack of funds can't carry on the rest of restoration.
