Lamb of Manchester Antique Rosewood Cupboard
This stunning antique rosewood cupboard ca 1870 is stamped by the renowned maker Lamb of Manchester and has a rectangular top with shaped corners above a deep moulded frieze and three moulded cupboard doors with key and working locks. Each interior has three small drawers above three adjustable shelves. The cupboard has half rounded moulded corners, stands on a moulded plinth, has original backboards and is of a superb quality. The top is a little marked, due to age and use and the piece is a warm medium rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Items of this age and quality are becoming very rare to find and they are not just a beautiful piece of furniture but also a very good investment. A piece of furniture of this quality should sell for around £4000. In a London antique shop it would have a price tag of well over £5000.
