Lalique Bacchantes Vase

Clear

Brand New & Boxed

The Bacchantes vase was designed by Rene Lalique on July 22, 1927 and has been in production at the Lalique glassworks ever since. The full length neo-classical female nudes illustrates Lalique's abilities as a sculptor. The chiseled effect in the background of Bacchantes emphasizes his intention to give a sculptural quality to the figures.

About Lalique

A renowned name during the Art Deco movement, Lalique has continued to create exquisite crystal pieces for modern times. In 1926, Rene Lalique began manufacturing satin-finished vases, bowls, and statuettes. Today, his fine tradition endures with themes ranging from classical forms to ultramodern designs.
