Ladies Vintage Grey Faux Fur Short Cape- Genuine Girmes

Ladies vintage short, light grey , faux fur stole/cape.

Made in England and labelled as a genuine Girmes.

Non inflamable, made from 56% acrylic 26% cotton and 18% modacrylic.

I'm sure this must date from the 40's or there abouts.

Quite a wide collar with a press stud fastener at the front.

Fully lined.

Measures approx 21 ins from back of neck to hem.

There is a slit on either side where you put your arms through and there is a slit pocket on either side of the openings.

Great label on the back with the Houses Of Parliament and Big Ben on that says Made in England and the Union Jack, very impressive.

I think this would fit any size as there's nothing that is actually fitting, it just wraps around the shoulder.

In really great condition for its age, there are one or two small marks, I think these may have come from hanging it on a metal coat hanger, hopefully would be easily sorted with a little tlc.

A really great vintage 40's garment, ideal for the collector or for fancy dress?? this Christmas.
