It is a mottled, multi-coloured, very bright yarn - the predominant colour being a deep pink - but also including other colours such as blue and cream

This item has seen a bit of wear - there are several small thread pulls though due to the method of construction they are not really noticeable (it it made from recycled sari material - therefore a slightly 'wispey' finish is a characteristic of this type of hat). However, it is still in nice clean condition and will still provide years of use.

The goods will be shipped within 2 days of receiving cleared payment.

PLEASE NOTE:

My goods come from a smoke-free home. However, I do have a dog. Although the majority of my textile items are laundered before selling – and I endeavour to keep my dog away from any items that I am selling – please be aware of this if you are acutely allergic to animals.

Although I make every effort to take accurate photographs, please be aware before bidding that it is not possible to accurately reproduce colours on computer screens. If I feel that the original colours diverge greatly from those shown I will allude to this in the description.

Postage and Packing:

I am happy to combine postage costs on multiple purchases (providing the auctions finish within 5 days of each other and providing it is safe and practicable to send the items within the same package). If you are still bidding on any of my other items, please let me know when you have finished bidding and I will send you a combined invoice.

I aim to be as accurate as possible with my postage and packing charges and seek to charge you the actual postage costs only, plus a small amount to cover packaging costs etc. I use recycled packaging whenever possible and this helps to keep the costs down for all my buyers (i.e. I charge everyone my ‘average’ packing cost, as opposed to giving ‘free’ re-cycled packaging to some and charging the full cost of bought-in packaging to others - this seems to be the fairest option). It also helps the environment.

Occasionally I have to estimate the postage and packaging costs – if I have underestimated then I lose, if I have grossly overestimated then I will refund the excess to you (although your payment will need to have cleared first).

Your goods will not be despatched until your payment (e.g. cheques and eCheques) has cleared.

UK bidders: I always obtain a Certificate of Posting (which provides Royal Mail insurance up to the value of £34.00). Items which sell for more than £34.00 (or if the combined value of the package is more than £34.00) will be sent via Special Delivery (and will require a signature on receipt). In this event, please wait for me to send you a revised invoice before paying.

If your goods are damaged on receipt, please notify me immediately and retain the original packaging for possible inspection by Royal Mail in the event of a claim.

Overseas bidders: please contact me before bidding for international postage costs and details (if not already stated). Please note too that I only accept PAYPAL (in Sterling) as a method of payment from overseas buyers. Less valuable items will normally be sent via a non-trackable method of shipping, with more valuable items being sent via a more-expensive trackable method. The method of shipping will normally be clearly stated in the listing. If not, please e-mail me for clarification.   PLEASE NOTE: any item that sells for over £34 will, by default, be sent via a trackable shipping method. If the extra shipping charges have not already been included on the invoice, please wait for me to send you a revised invoice before paying. Thank you.

Any returns by overseas buyers are subject to the same Terms and Conditions (stated below) as UK buyers.   

RETURNS:

I want my buyers to be happy with their purchases and I therefore offer a ‘no quibble’ returns policy in the vast majority of cases (subject to the terms and conditions stated below). There may, however,  be a few instances from time to time where returns are not accepted, so please read the item description carefully.

Refunds are subject to the following conditions: that you notify me of your intention to return the goods within 3 days of receiving them; that the goods are returned safely to me, in the condition in which you received them (i.e. unworn/unused and with original tags still intact, if appropriate), within 7 days of receipt; that all postage costs (outgoing and return) are paid by you; and that my eBay seller’s fees are deducted from any refund (if eBay subsequently refund these sellers fees – under the ‘Mutual’ Unpaid Item Dispute process -  you will be reimbursed for the seller’s fees if and when the ‘unpaid item’ seller fee credit is received by me). The refund is dependant on the safe receipt of the goods by me so please use appropriate packaging; you are also advised to obtain a Certificate of Posting and, for packages valued at more than £34.00, to use Special Delivery (overseas buyers: you are advised to use a trackable insured method). Please note that no refunds will be given until the initial payment has cleared (e.g. eCheques can take up to 10 days to clear).
