I have decided to sell my Lada 1300 Estate, a car I have owned since November 1998. I'm the second owner and the vehicle was first registered on 26th February, 1991. The car is taxed and MOT'd until August. During the time I have owned this car, I have had both front wings replaced, had it regularly serviced and greased by a local garage and had the oil changed each year when the vehicle has gone for MOT.
This car is in very good condition for the year and I have had both front sill sections welded as well as part of the passenger side front floor pan. There is a little bit of rust appearing now in the front out-riggers where they meet the long box sections. This will probably require a small amount of welding for this years MOT but the floor pan area seems OK.
The car does need a new clutch; it judders when let out in 1st gear but drive OK otherwise. I have a new clutch and thrust bearing which I will include in the sale. The car comes with a working radio cassette player as well as a CB radio that I installed two years ago.
I have maintained the bodywork in as good a condition as I can but there are one or two little marks and the rear had been run into a bollard at Sainsburys by the previous owner! I replace the rear bumper and the dent is hidden by the bumper so I have never carried out any work on this area, preferring to leave well alone.
Any inspection welcome but (I do not wish to appear rude) please do not waste my time by bidding if you really are not interest. It is an honest car and I would like it to go to a good home where the new owner will carry-on keeping what is now a rare model, on the road.
