With variable gain from 9db all the way to a powerful 26 db, this is important with freeview as too much signal can be as bad as not enough!supplied with mains power supply which supplies low voltage up the co-ax cable to power the amp, also on the power supply is the gain control which is easily adjusted from inside the house, although called "masthead" this amp is equally suited for mounting anywhere along the aerial feed or even in the loft, this amp uses f type connectors for reliability and ease of installation, a top quality amp at a low price.
This kit combines a high gain masthead amplifier with a power supply
with adjustable output allowing indoor gain control. This means that
with the power supply positioned within sight of a TV the gain can be
adjusted easily for optimum picture quality.
