Published the same year as the first edition this 1953 paperback reprint contains a clear account of the disaster that struck the coastal area of Lynmouth on the 15th of August 1952 when the East and West Lyne rivers flooded killing 34 people and destroying houses, roads and bridges.

With nearly 50 photographic illustrations and a sketch map.
