 Wicker Picnic

Hamper or Basket. 

This a lovely high quality picnic basket, it is fitted with strong leather straps to the outside, to attach the lock and on the inside card. The wicker handles to the either side are sturdy and well fixed. The internal wicker shelves are also strong and sturdy. 

At some point in its' life it has suffered from wood worm, mainly to the front at the bottom, this has been re-treated, just in case. Unfortunately it has left the strut by the bottom left hinge spongy, although the hinge is still well attached. This could be repaired.

Otherwise this is a charming picnic basket which is ready to be re-used.

The basket measures 40 cm (15 3/4 inches) long, 21 cm (8 1/4 inches) wide and 26 cm (10 1/4 inches) high.

 This is a super vintage item would look great as a display item or great to use for the vintage car rally, etc.
