This is a lovely Sterling Silver screw topped scent bottle , which I believe to be have been made by Robert Pringle, and hallmarked at the Birmingham  assay office in c1897.


This lovely silver topped bottle measures approx. 3 12/16 inches (95 mm) tall with a width that is approx. 1 12/16 inches (45mm) by 1 2/16 inches (30mm). The neck of the silver screw top carries a set of Sterling Silver hallmarks, for Birmingham and with what I believe to be the date letter x - c1897 / 98 and the very rubbed desirable makers mark of RP ( which I believe to be the mark of Robert Pringle).

 

This very collectable  bottle has been used and shows signs of use, condition is generally good to very good, it is enscribed on the top, there are some impressions to the top and a small nibble to the glass on one side, it has a lovely patina - as always I have left it in it's original state (please see pictures and make your own mind up). On the whole a  nice, very collectable silver topped scent bottle from a sought after maker.

Buyers in the UK can pay by Sterling Cheque or Postal Order and I will upgrade the delivery from recorded to special delivery at no extra cost. Please contact me first if you wish to pay by other means - payment by paypal requires tracked, fully insured signed for delivery hence special delivery by default.
 

If you pay by cheque I will usually post as soon as possible on receipt and I will leave feedback once the cheque has fully cleared.

 


  Payment Methods for Non UK Buyers
 
 
I am happy to accept PayPal from Non-UK buyers on the condition that the transaction will be made in Pounds Sterling ( this will normally be converted to your national currency when charged to your credit card). 

No charge will be made for using PayPal unless specifically highlighted in the auction listing

I will also accept personal or cashiers cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on a British bank. A cheque to be drawn on a British bank must have on it the UK address of the head office.
