LOVELY TRADITIONAL MAHOGANY STANDARD LAMP



Description

This standard lamp is from the 1930s and belonged to an aunt.

It has had a modern plug, cable and bulb holder fitted so it complies with British Safety Standards.

It is just over 1.4 metres high.

Its stepped, art deco style base is 31cms in diameter.

Its beautiful dark hue and elegant turning make it very attractive.

It has a few minor marks commensurate with its age but nothing which detracts from the overall look.

The auction is for the lamp only but I have shown it with a couple of lampshades so you can see the full effect.

There are pictures taken outdoors, at distance and in close-up, with the light off and on to try to do it justice.

With a 99p start and no reserve this is a great chance to pick up an art deco lamp at a bargain price.
