LOVELY JOHNSON BROS VEGETABLE BOWL "VICTORIAN" 1920s

        Super Large Vegetable Dish or  Fruit Bowl

This is a Lovely Vegetable Dish or  Fruit Bowl from the Johnson Bros Pottery in Hanley Stoke-On-Trent.

It features a pattern called "Victorian" - though it is not the version of Victorian that I've come across before.

The Dish measures 2 1/4" Tall to the Top Rim which is 9 1/4" in Diameter. 

There's a small Edge running around the Top of the Bowl which is roughly 5/8" Wide.

The Base is 3 3/4" in Diameter. 

There are two areas of Pattern.  The Larger pattern features Pink Yellow and Blue Flowers on a single Branch with Green Leaves.

The smaller Pattern has Yellow and Pink Flowers.

There's a Gilded Ring to the Top Edge, which has 4 Pointed Corners to offer Lifting Points.

The Backstamp has  "Victorian" over a Crown, over "Johnson Bros England".

The Letter "N" and number "7" have been handwritten in Gold.

I believe that this backstamp was introduced in 1913.

There are No Chips and No Cracks - just a little Crazing commensurate with its age.
