LOVELY ANTIQUE 9K GOLD SHELL CAMEO PIN ARTEMIS c1890
A lovely antique natural shell cameo; beautifully hand carved to depict the goddess Artemis, in a high quality solid 9 carat gold mount with fine scroll-type and applied graduated orbs for wear as a pin.
High quality, wonderfully attractive and both wearable and extremely collectable!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slightest signs of wear, no loss or damage.
DEFECTS: None.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1900. Stamped '9ct'.
DIMENSIONS: 58 x 49 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT: Approx. 15.0 grams.
