REVIEW

In a gala dinner offered in Paris for the King and Queen of Spain, Santi (Juanjo Puigcorbé), member of the Royal Guard and Diana (Ana Belén), frequently seen on the covers of glossy magazines coincide. Diana suffers a shock when she recognises Santi as her first love, whom she hadn’t seen for many years. The first time Diana (Penelope Cruz) and Santi (Gabino Diego) laid eyes on each other was in the hotel where the Beatles stayed when they came to Madrid to play their only Spanish concert, in 1965. Love at first sight was intense, but Cupid's dart must have been defective because as the years went by they produced side effects that were highly damaging to the health. In this film appear Javier Bardem (BEFORE NIGHT FALLS) and Aitana Sánchez Gijón (A WALK IN THE CLOUDS).
