Re-listed!! The last buyer arranged collection, never turned up and didn't reply to e mails! Please only bid to buy!!
This has been my day to day car for just under 2 years. The previous owner was a lady and when I brought it, it was in immaculate original condition. She had it over 5 years and it went to Nick Whale Lotus for everything, which is where I got it from. I have continued taking it there and therefore has a Full lotus service history. This is a very reluctant sale due to my first baby is on the way!!
Since I have owned it has had,
-Prism effect paint, including the inside of the doors, there isn't a single scratch on it, and it cost best part of £3000. The photo's don't show it very well, it can basically be a range of colours. At the time of the photo's, the doors were purple and green. But the camera doesn't show it very well. When it's cloudy it just looks metalic silver!!
-Sports exhaust
-Hurricane induction.
-S2 bilstien suspension.
-Cat 1 alarm with remote central locking.
-Ebc drilled, grooved and vented disks.
-Sbs pro track pads.
-Yokohoma advan neovan tyres.
-Recent geo set up by top gear.
-Head Light and driving light protectors.
-Recent clutch. (which it didnÂ’t actual need, it was a bush on the clutch peddle that was worn!!)
-Recent head gasket change.
Most of the above has been done in the last 6 months.
It's a 1999, has covered 73,000 miles, none on a track! Leather seats. 6 months tax, MOT till Nov and Sony cd player. It was rolling road tested at 126bhp, this was prior to the induction, so I'd guess about 130 bhp now. I had no intention of selling this car, it was my hobbie. Hence the fact i've spent so much on it!
This item is for sale elsewhere, so i reserve the right to end the auction.
(The private plate is not included and is now back on it's original number.)
Happy Bidding!!
Cheers Lee

Forgot to mention it also has Stainless Steel braided hoses. I found this plus the uprated disks and pads offered a much improved stopping distance and less brake fade compared to the standard ones. I'd go as far as to say the standard brakes are dangerous, especially in the wet!! This cost about £700. I also found the Bilstien suspension a far better ride compared to the koni suspension that the S1 has fitted as standard. Hence the fact lotus now use this on their new elise. The ride height is set to 125mm rear 115mm front. The suspension upgrade cost £800. The tyres are made by Yokohma specifically for lotus and are only availble through Lotus dealers and are about as good as it gets for road use. These cost about £500 a set. The Brakes, suspension and tyres were all done around October and following this the Geo was set up by Top gear (lotus specialists).
