This is a jadeite jade carving
of a tortoise. 100% natural jadeite jade - no polymer
impregnation, no dyes. Tortoise is an auspicious animal.
Its longevity is legendary. It can go on without food for
a long time. It is a wise animal for it out runs the lazy
hare. It is prudent for when the world is full of trouble
it just simply withdrawn its head into its comfortable shell.
And on festivals Chinese are fond of 'letting a life go free'
and they are fond of letting a captured tortoise go free hoping
the karma of reciprocating would bring him/her the good fortune
of a long and healthy life. This is a piece of good luck charm.
Of course take heed that its carvings are quite crude and the
carving marks are not polished. Just take heed.. but think
again...you are buying a good luck charm and that is the stone
and the symbol of the tortoise. If you want superb
carvings there are also plenty on the market but you are going
to pay a lot for it. For a good luck charm a tortoise will
just make do...never mind its carving standards.

: This refers to Jadeite Jade which has
been dye or impregnated with colored polymers.

we have our resource center in the Pacific Rim region of Malaysia, Singapore
or Hong Kong. The location of the products will be stated as NYC or Pacific
Rim Countries.
2) Delivery time will vary
depending on the location of the region where the product is located. For
the Pacific rim countries normally it may take 12 to 15 days to arrive at
the United States or other countries.
3) We can combine shipping if the location of the
products are from the same region. Please enquire on shipping charges if you

4) For high value items we prefer to ship by FedEx
