Timber is a natural product & when exposed to nature may shrink, swell, split & distort. Due to the large volume of water based preservative that is forced into the timber it is more likely to cause this to happen than with untreated timber especially during weather extremes. This is a natural process and will not affect its structural properties and is a small price to pay for the long life of your timber. We cannot accept any claims for returns in regard to these natural processes.
