Spain is internationally renowned by the high quality of its lambskin.  LOEWE uses Nappa 7000, considered to be of the highest quality in the world.  The selection process is very challenging, as only 3% of the skin is used.  After the selection process, the skin is dyed with organic dyes and polished repeatedly with a unique hand rubbing technique against the skin surface.  The last comprises the use of a glass cylinder to heighten the skin’s shine, softness, and flexibility.  This is required to obtain markedly soft leather (between 0.7 and 0.9mm) of an extraordinary quality and unequalled feel to it: the LOEWE Touch.
