"L.M.S Miscellany: A Pictorial Record of the Company's Activities in the Public Eye and Behind the Scenes: Volume Two" by H N Twells, published by the Oxford Publishing Company in 1984.

This excellent book examines many aspects of the London Midland & Scottish Railway that are often overlooked in some railway books, everything from "Collecting Dogs" to "Cutlery", from "Parcel Stamps" to " "Insurance of Livestock", from "Seat Reservations" to "Postcards" and much, much more, including a large section on the LMS effort during the Second World War.

Illustrated throughout with high quality black and white photos with very informative captions.

Hardback, approx 11x8.5" with 243 black and white photos.

In used but still very good condition, some slight wear to the original dust jacket (price corner uncut).  Inside is clean and tidy throughout.

Will be sent securely packaged, bubble wrapped and in a bubble envelope.
