LLOYD LOOM 'LUSTY' PADDED BEDROOM STOOL/LINEN BASKET

Original un-restored 1930s design!

A lovely example of art deco furniture from classic wicker furniture makers LLOYD LOOM.  This stool and linen basket combination is in its original pink paint colour highlighted with brushed gold on the edges and interior.  Sound construction by Lloyd Loom 'Lusty' as you would expect, this has stood the test of time very well. 

Could use just a little TLC to return it to its former glory.  The trim around the padded stool lid is missing (to hide the upholstery staples - easily replaced), and one foot is missing but would be an easy repair as it's only a short piece of wooden dowel.  All the Lloyd Loom wicker is in excellent condition and the original fabric is in a charming pink heart design.  Dated on the bottom as made on 20 June 1933 (I think - the year is bit blurred - check the photo and decide for yourself!).   Very lovely piece and still practical today.  Tres shabby chic!

I generally post on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  I always obtain proof of posting but I do recommend taking the RECORDED DELIVERY option, particularly if you're item cost more than £34  - £1 extra for peace of mind.

I am happy to combine packing to save you postage if you purchase more than one of my items in a 7 day period.

All items from a smoke-free home.  I try to describe my items honestly and accurately, and do not accept returns, unless I have accidentally grossly misrepresented an item, in which case, at my discretion, I will refund the cost of the item but not the return postage.
