Hill is represented in numerous public collections including the V&A. He taught at Hornsey and was a public figure on television accompanying numerous books. Adrian Hill died in 1977. His teaching work was highly skilled but sobre, his exhibited work was always highly atmospheric and is much sought after. Excellent auction record and continues to be collected. This excellent oil on board is signed on the front and measures 20" x 24". It dates ca. 1970. Overall condition good with incising into the wet paint. Some paint loss top left and edges a bit bashed in places. Overall will frame up excellently. |
