LIDER-2.

Wild microsynth from Polivoks factory - soviet replica to famous ROLAND GR-300.

• Rare multieffects processor manufactured from 1982 by the Formanta factory(they made Polivoks) in the former Soviet Union.

The company claims it's a "gutar microsynthesizer", but I'd sooner call it a "guitar multi-FX unit".

• This auction floorboard was made in January 1982 in USSR. Serial number #9007026.

• 5 main sections - Mixer (Distortion, Octave) / Tone Corrector VCF ( 3 band EQ)/ Flanger/ Chorus /Clean.

•  Overdrive/Octaver - flat, screaming, lo-fi overdrive with slider to ad one octave down to fatten sound and one more up.

Control functions:

  • MIXER: Rocktone(distortion) 1/2 on, rocktone, suboctave, octave, guitar
  • FLANGER : frequency, brightness, depth, rate
  • TONE CORRECTOR VCF : level, tone-1, tone-2, tone-3 controls
  • CHORUS: rate, detune
  • OUTPUT: AMPLIFIER/PHONE ON, EFFECT, SCALE.

• It can be used as the external effect processor not only for guitar, but very suitable for electronic synthesizer projects since it has powerful analog resonance filter with envelope, retro phaser, overdrive with unique parameters.

• Metal body.

• Connection on the rear panel : INPUT,OUTPUT with  5DIN -  two adapter cables to 1/4 jack included!  Phones on 1/4''jack  and direct clean Output on 5 DIN, power wire connection (220/240V), fuse (0,5A) .

• For such old gear, this unit is in very good cosmetic condition. There are some small starches on metal body, but overall item looks very clean .

The working condition is perfect. Actual pictures please look below.

All sliders and switches were serviced and cleaned before this auction and are without any noise on moving .


SOUND IS VERY AGGRESSIVE, WILD AND FAT.  REALLY UNIQUE SONIC CHARACTERISTICS!

The filter is cool, you can have it self-oscillate messing with the resonance and creating feedback.


• Package include : Lider microsynthesizer, all schematics, two adapter cables from 5din to 1/4'' jack, panel translation from Russian to English (all in .jpg format)  and power lead.
