This  loco was  orignally  a 24630  Morton  Salt  livery loco,  it has  been  resprayed and  weathered dirty matt black and  grey  with  a Bauxite  cab roof,

It  is  actually  quite  new  only  purchased  recently, but  a  change  of  railway  direction means  I have  no  use  for  it any more,

It is  currently  fitted  with  an  LGB  MTS III decoder so it  can  be  used  on  both  digital or  Analogue  systems.

Whilst the  actual  decoder  intallation  is  a  simple  plug in  job, gaining  access  to  the interior is  NOT.  as  LGB in  the  assembly  process   crimp  the  metal  hand  rails at  the  front of  loco  before assmbly  is  complete,  this  means  that  the  bonnet  cannot be  removed  without  cutting  the  hand  rails!!!

In order  to  reassemble it  was  nescessary to fit  a small section of  tube  over  the  hand  rail to rejoin the  sections,  however  this  does  not  in  any  way  detract from  the  locos  appearance,  SEE PHOTOS.

An  additional pair  of  horns  is  fitted  to  cab  roof.

It  is  boxed with instructions.

should  the  winning  buyer  wish  to   take  the  loco as  analogue  only  I will remove  the  decoder prior  to  despatch   and  make  a  refund  of  £25 from the  price.

The  shipping  cost  reflects  the  weight. (and  postal  charges  have  recently  been increased  by Royal Mail)
