The LG KP500 Cookie has received something of a sweet update today with the release of a white version. The ‘white’ Cookie will be making its debut exclusively for O2 , at an amazingly tasty PAYE price.

LG is billing this handset as the ‘most affordable touchscreen handset’ on the market and has now introduced a new look just for O2. The crisp white look offsets the stylish screen that comes with a host of key features.

For instance, the Cookie still sports a sliding two-panel homescreen that embraces widget and speed dial customisation, while one shake of the phone will auto-align your icons in an orderly fashion. Otherwise the user-interface and menu system follows the tab arrangement seen on the LG KU990 and Renoir.

 

 

The 3 inch full touch screen provides a completely new viewing experience, allowing you to watch videos, play games and view photos. Bigger is better and touch navigation is made easier by the lager, more vivid icons. The user Interface is so intuitive that users are eager to explore and master all of the functions and features of the LG-Cookie. The latest UI offers smooth and simple menu navigation right at your fingertips.The LG-KP500 has a neat embedded Stylus Pen concealed in the base, easily removable, for advanced handwriting recognition. Users can write memos and text messages(even in complex scripts e.g. Chinese), and also edit photo images at the touch of the Stylus. The QWERTY on screen keyboard slides into view when the LG-KP500 is held horizontally, and the auto rotating display always shifts images or documents for proper viewing no matter which way the handset is turned. Features a 3.2 megapixel camera and video recorder with playback, and micro SD memory to store your pictures and more!
