It is as new with over 3 years warranty left.

The L'equip Visor is a highly popular and stylish juicer that is capable of juicing wheatgrass, leafy greens, vegetables and fruit. The nutrient content of the juice is very good as it uses the single auger method of juicing. The Visor also has many other food-processing capabilities as well as juicing.

The Visor is a single auger juicer. Single auger juicers work by feeding the produce onto a turning auger (screw) that crushes the produce to release the juice. The design of the Visor is ground breaking in that the position of the feeding chamber has been offset from the centre of the auger chamber and this makes feeding produce into the machine easier than most other single auger models.

Other great design features include the auger (screw) that is designed to exert more pressure on the produce as it passes over the juicing screen so that more juice is extracted. The screen has also been designed so that it does a better job of seperating the pulp from the juice than most other single auger juicers. Because the pulp is ejected at the end of the machine continuous juicing is possible.

The juice yield is good and the quality of juice is excellent. This is because the auger turns at a low speed (100 RPM) so little heat or air are introduced into the juice. The net effect of this is that the juice made with the Visor will store for longer and will have more enzymes than juice that is created with a centrifugal juicer such as the L'equip Mini 110.5.

The Visor is not just a juicer. It can also be used to make pasta, noodles, homogenised baby foods, mincing, pureeing, sorbets and frozen fruit "ice creams" making it a truly useful, multi functional kitchen tool. Its ability to perform many natural food-processing functions make the Visor popular with people who frequently eat raw foods.

All the removable parts easily rinse clean and are dishwasher safe. When not in use the juicing parts can be removed and the 'Stealth Visor' can be flipped across (see the 'View Larger Picture' link above). This means the machine can be neatly stored on the kitchen worktop.
