Warwick Davis plays a mean Leprechaun who doesn't like to play by the rules, and will kill anyone who goes near his gold. Dan O'Grady takes the gold to America from Ireland after he catches the leprechaun. The Leprechaun follows him however, and wreaks havoc until Dan locks him in a crate and attempts to burn him, but has a stroke. 10 years later, two people buy the O'Grady's old house, (they are J.D. and his spoiled daughter Tory - a young big haired Aniston), not knowing what is locked in a crate in the basement. Three painters: Nathan, his brother Alex, and Alex's dim friend Ozzie are working on the house. That afternoon Ozzie and Alex find the Leprechaun's gold, and Ozzie accidentally releases the Leprechaun from his crate. The Leprechaun goes on a killing spree and terrorizes the friends, trying to get his missing gold back. Can he be stopped?. Some gore and a few shocks, but mostly fun. Aniston spends most of the movie in very short shorts and the director seems to follow her movements from behind a lot .... I wonder why!  Buyers need a multi region DVD player.
