LED Head Torch, Hiking, Caving, Rescue

These are no ordinary lamps. We are moving warehosue and found a box of these, which we used to sell a few years ago.

They are used by Police, Fire and rescue services in USA and we sold them to R.N.L.I in UK. When we stpped selling them ( due to massive growth in our other business) we had tghem on trila with some UK fore services and police as well as the armed forces.

They are waterproof, spark proof and run for hours on AA batteries. They are used by search teams in disaster zones who especially like the batteries, try recharging something when the areas infrastructure is in ruins.

But best yet, all other lamps use power then the lamp fades fast as the batteries run down. Not these, they have a power management system built in and as they detect a pre programmmed battery level is reached they shut down half of the 24 LEDs and will run like that for 36 hours, before shutting down half again for another 24 nours. Fabulously useful, never be caught out in the dark.

The shape of the aray is clever too, you will get periferal vision up to 60 degress from staright ahead. The lamps are so powerful the useful vision is up to 70 yards in front and 10 feet to each side.

A freind of mine took one on the Dakar and was told it was too bright for him to use when servicing his bike!!!!
