amazing vintage!

welcome to the world of deerskin leather from north america and the most incredible of leathers - hard to source in the uk and expensive to import but it is starting to be used by some of the worlds top designers and cost thousands of pounds to buy these garments. if you have never worn deerskin then it is a pure delight. most of all its so incredibly soft and smooth. it velvety and is thick and dense but is just so wonderfully lightweight. the hide holds the air and this keeps you warm but yet you can wear it in summer too and it wont wear you out with its weight or make you feel too enclosed. its exceptionally strong and wont tear or rip easily. its soft and really does mould to your body with the warmth and feels like you are wearing a cloud. its amazing - i love it and its my favourite leather. dont be mistaken by the deerskin we have in the uk which tends to be stiff leather purses and wallets and is nothing like these incredible vintage north american deerskins. it is not a cruel sport - communities depend on the deer and all of the deerskin items i am selling are vintage rare and you will love the sweet smell and the soft warmth like cotton clouds around you - for men the jackets are strong tough and rugged but you wont need to wear a heavy jacket to get the right look. no-one in the uk has the stock which we have and its thanks to our american cousins for allowing us to share in this hidden delight of leather - thanks to the noble deer.

THIS JACKET WAS SOLD AND POSTED AND WAS RETURNED IN A DREADFUL CONDITION FOLLOWING A ROYAL MAIL ACCIDENT - IT WAS REALLY  MUDDY AND STAINED BUT ROYAL MAIL PAID ME FOR THE CLEANING OF THIS AND THE JACKET IS NOW IN A WONDERFUL ALMOST AS NEW LOOK CONDITION

ITS IMMACULATE AND THE VERY EXPENSIVE CLEANING PROCESS HAS BROUGHT UP INCREDIBLE HIGHLIGHTS IN THE LEATHER..................THE PRICE IS HIGH AND IS WORTH EVRY PENNY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST JACKETS WE ARE SELLING - VERY THICK SUPPLE PRISITINE CLEAN COAT

this is amazing and is a lovely rich natural hand stained chestnut brown - the colours are just incredible and i promise that you just wont feel the cold in this beauty!

THIS IS A WONDERFUL MENS VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE BIKER JACKET

AND THE TEXTURE IS thick and heavy like strongest horsehide - supple as the thickest steerhide and deep grained like the best nappa leather and smooth soft surface like the most fine lambskin - this must have come from the grandest stag - an amazing leather and is will resist most rough and rugged treatement

its a pioneer wear jacket which is 1960s original vintage from albuquerque usa and has the true indian hipy west coast look in the richest most warm light golden tan - the man who wears this jacket is not afraid to show his masculinity but has a soft and gentle side too

thick leather whipstitch lacing down the arm and across the yoke front and back and bordering the cuffs

leather lined pockets with flaps on the chest and the front pockets are deep and extend at the sides - design feature almost unseen is the lace ties at the sides of the pockets so that when you dont need the full expansion they are held down flap - this is no flimsy lace but strong deerskin -

the buttons are just so cool - they are long rolled up leather strips which are strong wide and chunky and glossy surface like little conkers!

vented at the sides for ease of movement on a motorcycle or horse if you want the western look

a very strong beautiful rugged jacket and not for wimps

most of what i sell is vintage clothing and accessories and these are all in as new condition unless noted - minor things like dust in handbags or slight fray on denim is not mentioned but rips tears stains or defects which need attention will be mentioned. where possible everything will be clean and freshly laundered. leather items willbe left for you to wax and restore where needed as this is part of the pleasure of vintage.
