G.B.S was 66, Lawrence was 34 when in 1922 the two men met, on a casual afternoon in March. For the next 13 years, until Lawrences' tragic death, they maintained (with Mrs Shaw as a third partner) one of the most unusual friendships in Literary history.

This is the story of that friendship.
