ORIGINAL SIGNED (DAREKS) & FRAMED FLORAL OIL PAINTING

This auction is for a very attarctive original oil painting in a swpt gilt frame. It measures approx 33ins (84cms)  x 29ins (74cms) to the outside of the frame and  depicts a basket of blooming white roses on a table before a darker blue / green background. It is a well executed work and handles the subject nicely being characterful and well balanced.

It is in generally good order with no reapirs and the only flaws are that the canvas has crazing over it, as one might expect with age,  although it adds character, and there is an area of three little patches, at top left, where the paint has been worn off, or over cleaned, to reveal th underpainting. Nothing too disfiguting and it remains a large, impressive and serious piece of work that woulf grace any wall it was hung on.
