A very striking wooden pot stand decorated to the upper with thin slithers of South African woods. The holes in the slithers are supposed to be there! They are under the lacquered finish.
In good condition for its age, the piece has been used and there are a few small signs of use to the reverse. There are a couple of small hairlines to the lacquer to the cream ground but the wood slithers are all intact.
